Repercussion Theatre Proudly Presented:

SHAKESPEARE-IN-THE-PARK 2006

Much Ado About Nothing

Moving the setting to post World War II and into the summertime ballroom of Messina, this production combines Shakespeare’s flowing prose with the swinging sounds of the 1940s and ’50s and pays homage to great Hollywood icons such as Katherine Hepburn, Rita Hayworth and the Rat Pack. The audience was even invited to arrive early for dance lessons with the cast, because according to the Repercussion Theatre troupe, “it don’t mean a thing if it aint got that swing!”
