In Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night: Or What You Will a sense of delightful disorder is at work – women disguise themselves as men, music, drink and sword fights abound, and servants push the boundaries of “place”– allowing characters to experiment with what is possible, and encouraging us to do the same. With wooing by proxy, sneaky servants, a drunken uncle, forged love-letters, yellow-stockings, and a singing clown, Repercussion’s Twelfth Night offered up an uproarious evening of wonderful disaster.
